DC native Sophia Maroon started Dress It Up Dressing in the spring of 2012 with a family recipe. By summer, she started selling it at the Bethesda Farmers Market, and by fall at Whole Foods. Since then, she's been learning her way around the maze of the food world. 

She likens film making to food – “you have raw materials from which you can make many different things. How you treat those materials, coupled with your experience, can determine whether you have a blockbuster, or a flop”. Dress It Up Dressing is now available throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
