Rivka Alvial - 

Daily Dish

Rivka Alvial, is the 2013 Campus Kitchen's President, the initiator of the Dining with the Chef’s event, and our featured Pastry Chef.  She has been a teaching assistant in the pastry class and a volunteer for many HTM events.

 

Her love and passion for all things culinary and hospitality has helped her grow in all aspect of the restaurant industry. As a striving pastry chef and restaurateur, she has worked under several leading RAMMY nominated chefs and restaurants, including Centrolina and Blacks Restaurant group. Her accomplishments include featured work at the White House Easter Egg Roll in 2016 and pastry consulting of seasonal desserts for local restaurants. Her Latin American and Italian heritage are huge influences in her style of cooking and baking of working with local, fresh, and sustainable ingredients.

 

Rivka is the currently the Assistant General Manager and Pastry Director of Daily Dish in Silver Spring.
