Lucy Campos - La Brasa

Lucy Campos came to the U.S.A. fleeing from a war-torn El Salvador.  Working through the food industry in DC, she found her calling in the kitchen.  What she noticed was a lack of home-style Salvadoran cuisine.  Without any formal training, she set to work on creating a restaurant where guests could enjoy authentic Latin comfort food.  Thus La Brasa was born, opening its doors in 2006, and serving the community ever since.
