Growing up in her Parents’ Chinese restaurant, which they owned and

operated for 30 years in the DC metro area, Janet Yu built a passion for

Chinese cooking.  In 1977, with assistance from her Grandfather, she

opened the only Chinese bakery in the area making Dim Sum and sweet

pastries.  For the past 20 years, she has owned and operated Hollywood

East Cafe in Wheaton, MD, a Hong Kong Style Restaurant and Dim Sum

Parlor serving authentic cuisine.
