Elise Wendland - Comus Inn

As a child Elise Wendland loved to cook and was able to move from Florida to Maryland to attend culinary school at L'academie De Cuisine. She has since worked for The Comus Inn at Sugarloaf Mountain for eight years and is now executive chef of the restaurant. Her love of southern cuisine and comfort food reflects in the menu and she enjoys cooking with the abundance of local produce found in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve.
